Pina Nevada Casino & Resort is set to open in early 2020 in the heart of New York city. The casino will be housed in a two-story, 24,000 sq. ft. building and will feature 100 gaming tables and 2,000 slot machines.

Pina Nevada Casino & Resort is being developed by a partnership between Pina Nevada Gaming LLC and EPR Properties. EPR Properties is a real estate investment trust that owns and operates more than 40 destinations, including resorts, casinos, water parks, and ski resorts.

"This is an exciting day for Pina Nevada Gaming as we break ground on our first property outside of Las Vegas," said company CEO Joseph Lanni. "New York City offers a world-class tourism destination and we are thrilled to bring our award-winning casino experience to guests from all over the globe."

The resort is expected to create 1,000 jobs in the local community.
